The founder
Stefanie Hack
Detail-oriented, a perfectionist, and a workaholic through and through. That's probably how my closest friends would describe me. :D
"Hi, my name is Stefanie and I am the founder of Hey Coral."
I was born in the Palatinate region of Germany and come from the tranquil town of Kaiserslautern. In addition to working on Hey Coral, my heart also lies in photography. I work as a content creator and, occasionally, as a wedding photographer.
The origin
From a spontaneous idea to a lifestyle brand
Hey Coral was launched in 2019 in the heart of the Palatinate region – and in a spontaneous and very special way. Over a colorful breakfast with a school friend, the idea of starting something together came up. What initially began unspectacularly with digital presets quickly developed into something bigger. With the initial income, we began designing and manufacturing our own jewelry.
Over the next four years, we put a lot of heart and soul into building Hey Coral. Our vision was to create jewelry and accessories that bring a touch of summer and vacation feeling into everyday life. From the very beginning, quality and durability were our focus – perfect for taking them anywhere, whether to the beach, the city, or special occasions.
In March 2023, I took full ownership of Hey Coral and have been working with great enthusiasm to further develop the brand ever since. My goal is to make Hey Coral's unique lifestyle accessible to even more people – through new partnerships, exciting promotions, and unforgettable jewelry parties.
With Hey Coral, I want to create more than just products: I want to tell stories, offer little breaks, and convey a lifestyle that accompanies you everywhere. The journey is far from over—and I look forward to continuing to share the summer with you.
What does the name stand for?
The name "Hey Coral" (pronounced "Hey ko ruhl") represents our deep connection with the ocean and our longing for the unique holiday feeling it conveys. With every piece of jewelry, we want to bring a piece of this special flair into your home. At the same time, the protection of our oceans is very important to us: Through regular donations, we actively contribute to preserving the fascinating and endangered coral reefs. Together with you, we want to set an example – for the beauty of nature and the love of the sea.
Long-lasting quality
Our jewelry is made from high-quality materials that are not only beautiful, but also durable and comfortable. We use robust stainless steel, which is waterproof, hypoallergenic, and perfect for everyday wear—whether swimming, showering, or exercising. We also offer jewelry made from precious 925 sterling silver, which impresses with its timeless elegance. Many of our designs are also finished with high-quality 18-karat gold plating, which ensures a particularly sophisticated look and preserves their radiant color for a long time.
