WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE FOR YOUR JEWELRY?
Our jewelry is made of either the purest 925 sterling silver or 316L stainless steel. Our gold-plated pieces are also coated with a high-quality 18-karat gold plating and sealed with a special e-coating process. This "protective layer" makes our jewelry more resistant to external influences.
IS YOUR JEWELERY WATERPROOF?
It all depends on the material used: Our gold-plated stainless steel jewelry is safe to wear in water. If you're using salt or chlorinated water, the jewelry should be cleaned with clean water afterward. 925 sterling silver jewelry, on the other hand, should always be removed beforehand, as the material is significantly more delicate. We generally recommend removing jewelry when showering, swimming, or exercising to ensure you can enjoy your jewelry for a long time.
HOW DO I PROPERLY CARE FOR MY HEY CORAL JEWELERY?
Store your jewelry in a dry and dark place. Avoid contact with moisture: water, disinfectants, humidity, lotions, hair sprays, perfumes, etc. (the pH of the skin can affect the oxidation of the jewelry).
